What We Collect

ProofOF stores the data you enter on your device first: item names, retailers, purchase dates, prices, serial numbers, receipt photos, notes, and the deadlines we track for you. If you sign in and enable sync, copies are stored on the sync server so they can be restored or shared across your own devices.

How we protect proof of purchase

As a receipt tracker and proof of purchase app, ProofOF keeps every receipt photo with its purchase log — retailer, serial, and warranty or return window. Photos are encrypted at rest and stay in the offline receipt tracker on your device until you sign in. That makes it a private shopping receipt organizer and warranty tracker without relying on a camera roll or email inbox.

How It's Used

Your data is used only to provide the service: showing countdowns, sending the reminders you requested, and displaying your digital receipt barcode. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or analytics.

Local First

Until you sign in and turn on sync, everything stays in the local database on this device. Deleting the app or the item removes it locally. Signed-in users can delete their account and server-side copies at any time.

Permissions

Camera access is used to photograph receipts and scan barcodes. Notifications are used only for deadline reminders you opt into. You can revoke either in your device settings at any time.
